University of Hawaii

Project Introduction

In 2020, the University of Hawaii wanted to temporarily move its football stadium back to campus. The stadium was scheduled to be used for more than five years, so an area behind the stands was needed for game viewing and resting. So we created a viewing hall that is 80 meters long and 5 meters wide and contains 16 individual suites. Taking into account the local climate, the 220mm profile aluminum profile was custom-made and combined with a roof angle below 10° to resist the strong winds of Honolulu. The large floor-to-ceiling glass and insulated metal panel links not only enhance the viewing experience, but also improve energy efficiency and provide students and teachers with a warm environment in winter and cool in summer.
